Bookcliff Barbershop Harmony Chorus

Welcome  to the website  for Bookcliff Barbershop Harmony Chorus of Grand Junction, Colorado. The chorus is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an international organization devoted to the support and nurture of the barbershop style of A Cappella singing for men’s voices. We are in the Rocky Mountain District of the society.

Join us! Find out how much fun it is singing popular songs in four part unaccompanied harmony. We are men of all ages, from all walks of life, who love to sing — we are fans and friends who thrill to the sound of harmony. You don’t have to know anything about music or singing – you just have to want to sing! Come find out how barbershop singing is not all quartets wearing straw hats and striped coats singing Sweet Adeline. Of course that is part of our heritage but there is so much more. We sing popular music from all eras that appeals to all ages. It’s an activity that lasts a lifetime.

Weekly Meetings – Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at First Baptist Church, 720 Grand Avenue, Grand Junction. Escape from your daily life to our fun times! Sing in a quartet, sing in a chorus, no auditions, give ‘er a whirl, just singing and welcoming into the fun. Call (970)-257-SONG (7664) for more information.

The USO show went well last night and our participation was really appreciated. We handed out a lot of fliers encouraging participation in our Christmas Caroling efforts. Join us. It’s going to be lots of fun! Five more rehearsals left. You don’t have to commit to all of the events at which we will be singing. Looking forward to seeing you there.
